 Tree removal is the most dangerous part of arboriculture and our arborists are highly trained to remove trees growing in confined spaces near houses, utility lines and other sensitive areas using the highest industry standards. When do I need to think about removing a tree?

• Dead or Dying Trees- Because they present a significant safety hazard, this is one of the most common reasons for tree removal.

• Obstructing Access- Trees that grow in unexpected directions or become too large can block access to driveways, roads, patios, decks or sidewalks. When pruning is not an effective way to manage this, removal might be necessary.

• Overcrowding – The mantra of  one of my Professors at Cornell was Addition via Subtraction, which is one of the guiding principles of most arborists. Tree removal can eliminate competition for light and space, which results in the most aesthetically pleasing design and ensures that plants will thrive.

• Construction- In order to install a pool, build a deck, patio, or addition, it might be necessary to remove trees. In these situations, stump removal will also be needed.
